Spring Clutter Clearing

Tomorrow is the first day of spring, and if you want to do your spring cleaning with greater ease, you’ll need to clear the clutter first.

  1. Write a checklist of each area of your home. It does not all need to get cleared in one day. Take your time and do what you can, because in the end, that is all you can do.

  2. Now put on some music or a podcast and go to town, or if you need breaks, just set a timer for 15 minutes. Take a water break when the alarm goes off, and then go on to the next space.

  3. Trash, (or ideally recycle and donate) any expired, broken, unloved and useless, or torn items. As I once heard someone say, “If you don’t love it or use it, lose it!”

  4. Write a shopping list of things you’ll need to replace the tossed items with.

Remember that every item you own has to be cleaned and cared for, so consider discarding knickknacks and extra items that you’re tired of dusting.

If you’re struggling to handle the clutter in your home, I can help. Schedule a free 30-minute discovery call below, and I’ll help you devise a plan and see what’s in the way. Most of the time, there’s inner work to be done that my life coach training can uncover and resolve.

Thanks for reading, and here’s to a more blissful season of decluttering!
