Clutter-Free Gift Ideas
So many of us are fortunate to have what we need and don’t want to fill our space with more stuff. This time of year, many of us are also yearning for meaningful ways to connect with loved ones.
Here are some clutter-free gift ideas for the season of giving:
Make a “Mix Tape:” Go to Youtube and create a free playlist of your favorite music. There’s nothing like Holiday Music to evoke warm emotions of togetherness even when you can’t be with them in person. Share your playlists with as many people as you like.
Invite someone out for one-on-one time for tea and say, “my treat.”
Make a “Wisdom Journal” out of an old blank notebook with one of your favorite quotes at the top of each page.
Go through your home and look for cheerful, consumable things you can put a ribbon on and give as a gift (unopened jams, well-loved books, etc.).
Put gifts in heavy-duty, reusable gift bags (that don’t wrinkle) with tissue paper. Most of the time recipients won't want to keep them after they have opened the gift and will let you take them back so they have less of a mess to clean up.
After gifting season, keep a Regifting Shelf with unneeded items. Throughout the year you’ll always have things you need in a pinch.
Happy gifting!
